Competition Rules: The Fine Print

All persons, companies and organizations entering the Webvisionary Awards must accept and abide by the indisputable rules and regulations as follows. By submitting a project and paying the entry fee(s), you are agreeing with and accepting all terms and conditions for the contest. WebVisions and the Webvisionary Awards may disqualify any entry that does not comply. All entry fees are non-refundable.

Let's keep it simple: The nominated work must be produced between June 1, 2008 and May 8, 2009 and should be a product or project of the nominating person, company, organization or representative of said person, company or organization. Nominators must have the consent of the person or organization to submit the work, and the nominator must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of their parent or guardian to enter a project.

Projects will be disqualified if the content promotes racism, sexism, religious prejudice or other forms of hatred. Please don't submit work that is pornographic or is extremely violent or distasteful.

By submitting the work, you swear that you hold the work's copyright, are abiding by the fair use principles or at least have permission from the copyright holder. If you are violating copyrights, patents, trademarks or other intellectual property, then you'll be in the doghouse and endure the endless shame of stealing someone else's work.

Nominations submitted in languages other than English will take longer to judge and must be submitted by April 1, 2009. The entry form for non-English work must be submitted in English.
